Pumps 101 Workshops

Our FREE Pumps 101 workshops help participants gain a solid understanding of the basics of maintenance, care, and use of pumps, controls, and valves.

Our expert instructors have decades of pump application experience and can help even experienced technicians take their understanding of pump systems to the next level.

Topics include the following:

Intro to Pumps
Pump Curves and Sizing
Valves
Basic Controls
Maintenance/Root Cause Failure Analysis

All participants will receive a certificate of completion, and 6 hours of continuing education credits will be offered for operators.

Note: We have received approval for operator credits from the states of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia for our Pumps 101 workshops.

Adjustable Speed Drives Workshops

We are proud to partner with Toshiba International to offer two workshops on Adjustable Speed Drives:

Intro to Adjustable Speed Drives

This course provides water and wastewater professionals with basic operational knowledge of Adjustable Speed Drives (ASDs) including motor and drive theory, setup and wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Operators will develop knowledge through instructor presentations and hands-on exercises with application emphasis on the Toshiba VF-AS3.

Intro to Adjustable Speed Drive Programming

This course provides water and wastewater professionals with basic operational knowledge of programming Adjustable Speed Drives (ASDs) including the use of transducers, potentiometers, and PID controls. Operators will develop knowledge through instructor presentations and hands-on exercises with application emphasis on the Toshiba VF-AS3.
