Service Pump is Proud to Offer Thompson Pump’s World-Renowned Pumpology Class
On March 3, Service Pump will host instructors from Thompson Pump to offer Thompson’s world-renowned Pumpology class. The workshop combines six courses to provide hands-on demonstration and classroom training from recognized industry experts. The class is designed to help industrial, water, and wastewater professionals understand how to most effectively use, maintain, and troubleshoot diesel pumps. Topics include:
- Principles of pumping
- Reading pump curves
- Calculating total dynamic head and system curves
- Sound attenuation
- Portable and stationary bypass pumping
- WRF diesel engines (Cummins 2.8T)
- RECON 2000 control panels
- Troubleshooting and pump failure analysis
All participants will receive a certificate of completion and we plan to offer six hours of continuing education credits for operators in Kentucky, Ohio and West Virginia.
