Celebrating 40 Years of Putting Service First
This year marks Service Pump & Supply’s 40th anniversary. To honor the journey that our founders, Danny and Barbara Vance, began so many years ago, we’re going to celebrate the things that make us who we are, and the people who’ve helped us along the way.
Throughout the year, we’re going to share stories about what we’ve done, how we did it, and who we did it for. Most importantly, we’re going to reinforce why we do it.
A lot has changed over the last 40 years, but our vision and values have remained the same. We still put service first, and we always will.
When we talk about service, we mean service to each other as coworkers, as friends, as neighbors. We mean service to our customers, and pulling out all the stops when they get into a bind, when production is down, and the water is starting to rise. And we mean service to the communities, where we work, live, and are proud to call home.
Unfortunately, you don’t have to go far to find cities and towns that are suffering, without access to clean water, to see contaminated rivers, or to visit a memorial that honors the victims of a fatal flood. These are sharp reminders that solving water problems is incredibly important. It’s important to the health of our family and friends, it’s important for our economy, and it’s important for every one of our customers that relies on water as part of their business.
For 40 years we’ve helped people get access to clean water, get rid of wastewater, and safely deal with stormwater, but we haven’t done it alone.
That’s why we’re making our anniversary celebration a year-long dedication to our customers, the often overlooked men and women who work tirelessly to support our water infrastructure, and to our employees and partners, past and present, who support them every day.
You are all doing jobs that are truly worth doing, and your contributions are certainly something worth celebrating. Thank you.
