SPS is proud to support the Appalachian Connection Scholarship, a scholarship program in Eastern Kentucky
At Service Pump and Supply, we believe in actively supporting the communities we serve. So, we’re honored to partner with Appalachian Connection. Appalachian Connection encourages the educational growth of young leaders in eastern Kentucky. This organization provides an annual $10,000 college scholarship to students who show a passion for the region.
On behalf of our team, we’d like to offer sincere congratulations to the 2021 Appalachian Connection Scholarship winner, Jarrett Napier, from Hazard, Kentucky. The Hazard High School senior is attending Lindsey Wilson College this fall. He plans to major in accounting with the ultimate goal of attending law school.
In addition to his academic excellence, Jarrett is a 2021 City of Hazard Civic Fellow. He is an avid golfer and a member of the Hazard High School varsity basketball and baseball teams.
Jarrett said, “I am extremely grateful to be the 2021 Appalachian Connection scholar. This connection will help me strive toward fulfilling my goals and improving my education. I am thankful for the opportunities provided by this scholarship and the blessing of having the support of everyone at Appalachian Connection. I am excited to move forward in this process with the help of the Appalachian Connection scholarship.”
Our team is proud to play a part in building up our local communities and fostering tomorrow’s leaders across our service area.
